Richard J. Farrell
Treasurer, Chief Financial Officer
As Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer for Global biohazard Technologies, Inc., Mr. Farrell is responsible for all business management, legal, finance and controls functions. He has more than 30 years business experience in leadership, strategic consulting, sales, marketing, business start-ups and competitive intelligence. After securing his degree at Bryant University in 1976, Mr. Farrell joined Texas Instruments as a third shift manufacturing supervisor for commercial and military connectors and semiconductor products. He progressed to management positions in manufacturing, production & inventory control, marketing and then sales & marketing over an 11-year period. His last position was Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, with responsibilities for the United States, Europe, the Middle East and Pacific Rim markets across 18 countries. Since settling in Richmond, Virginia in 1987, Mr. Farrell has founded and/or acquired five (5) companies and also owns minority equity stakes in eight (8) other companies. His corporate holdings include EMC2, Inc., a business consultancy that helps clients with sales, marketing, acquisitions, government regulations, business development, corporate funding and competitive intelligence. Other businesses include Cushing Manufacturing Company, Richmond Aquarium LLC, Dominion Group LLC, D.F. Farrell and Sons, Inc., and, most recently, CEO Intelligence Services.
